Study Abroad 101

Studying abroad - many students dream about exploring the world, learning languages and making friends in exotic countries. Unfortunately, for many it stays a dream and the initial enthusiasm is overshadowed by cluttered information on too many source and too much organizational stuff that needs to be taken care of before you can board the plane and digg into your study abroad adventure.

The book Study Abroad 101 gives you answers to your questions on studying abroad – all in one book. This book takes you by the hand and offers simple and easy to understand step by step guidelines from planning your trip up to your return after your study abroad program ends.

Here a short overview of the topics discussed in the book:

Top Secrets You Should Know
Shhhht – its top secret!!! ;-)

I especially like the Managing Money Abroad section and the Top Secrets You Should Know, but the whole book provides useful and provides current information (the 2nd edition came out in 2008) for everybody, who thinks about studying abroad. I have to admit, that some sections do not apply for non-US citizens, but the greater part provides valuable information, no matter where you are from or where you want to go.

I can only recomend this book for everybody, who wants to study abroad. It is a great resource and provides a load of information on studying in a foreign country.
